PFC Knowledge Vault

The purpose and scope of the Knowledge Vault remain the same as outlined in the original proposal: to give PFC staff a secure, reliable way to access trusted information from approved PFC sources.

What has changed is the technical approach. Rather than building the Vault around Claude Team, the revised approach uses Microsoft Copilot Studio, with Microsoft services providing the AI processing, security, access controls and connection to PFC’s approved information sources. This also allows the Vault to fit within the Microsoft environment PFC is already considering with Synapsis.

For PFC staff, the practical benefit remains simple: ask a question in everyday language and quickly receive an answer based on approved PFC information, or be directed to the right person when an answer requires staff input.
