PFC Knowledge Vault

The purpose and scope of the Knowledge Vault remain the same as outlined in the original proposal: to give PFC staff a secure, reliable way to access trusted information from approved PFC sources.

What has changed is the technical direction. PFC is considering a move to Microsoft 365 with Synapsis, and Microsoft 365 with SharePoint may already provide much of the core functionality originally proposed for the Knowledge Vault. Before building a separate solution in Copilot Studio, it makes sense to determine what PFC can accomplish within its Microsoft environment first.

For PFC staff, the goal remains simple: ask questions in everyday language and quickly receive reliable answers based on approved PFC information. Copilot Studio can remain an option if PFC later identifies requirements that go beyond what Microsoft 365 can provide.
