Kajabi Website Design & LaunchΒ for The Calm Collective
Prepared for Dawn Jenyce Β· The Calm Collective Β· August 2026
Thank you for posting this role. What follows is the full version of my Contra proposal β the scope, the sequence, and the past work behind it.
What I understand you need
A Kajabi site that is designed, functional and genuinely ready to launch β not a template with your logo dropped in. Visually calm and credible enough to carry both sides of your work: the self-actualization coaching and the real estate practice. Responsive on every device, integrations wired and tested, and someone on hand afterward when questions come up.
You've asked for roughly 20 hours a week on an ongoing basis. That tells me you want a design partner through launch and past it, not a one-off contractor who disappears at handoff. That's the way I prefer to work.
Who I am
I'm Andre, founder of Insparion. Twenty-plus years building things online, the last ten focused specifically on Kajabi. My original training is graphic design, and that shapes everything downstream: the typography, spacing, color and hierarchy on your site get the same attention as the funnels and automations behind it.
Most Kajabi contractors are either designers who can't build, or builders who can't design. I do both, which means nothing gets lost in the handoff β because there isn't one.
How I'd approach it
1. Assessment first
Before I design anything, I go through what already exists in your Kajabi account: theme and settings, page structure, offers and products, forms, email sequences, domain and integrations. I'll come back with a short, plain-English summary of what's solid, what's fighting you, and what's missing for launch. This step routinely saves weeks of building on the wrong foundation.
2. Design direction
I establish the visual system β type scale, color, spacing, button and section styles, imagery treatment β so every page you and I build afterward is consistent by default. If your brand identity is still loose, this is also where we tighten it. My approach to that is here: insparion.com/branding-exercise
3. Build
Pages designed and built in Kajabi: home, about, services or offers, contact, plus any sales and opt-in pages you need. Responsive behavior checked at every breakpoint β not assumed. Navigation and internal linking structured so visitors always know where they are and what to do next.
4. Integrations & automations
Offers and checkout configured and test-purchased. Forms connected to the right tags. Email sequences and pipelines set up and triggered end to end so nothing silently fails on launch day. Calendar, analytics and any third-party tools connected and verified.
5. Launch QA
A full pass before go-live: every link, every form, every button, on desktop, tablet and phone. Page speed, image optimization, SEO basics, mobile spacing. I'd rather find the broken thing than have your first visitor find it.
6. Ongoing
After launch: design iterations, new pages and offers as you add them, troubleshooting, and a standing line for "can Kajabi do this?" questions. I also do 1-on-1 training if you'd like to run more of it yourself β insparion.com/1-on-1-training
Rate & engagement
$95/hour β inside your posted $75β$100 range.
Approximately 20 hours per week, ongoing.
Tracked and invoiced through Contra, with a weekly summary of hours and what they went toward.
Front-loaded toward assessment and design in the first weeks, shifting to build, then to iteration and support after launch.
Recent Kajabi builds
Halford Consulting β halford.co
A premium Kajabi site for a consulting practice. Professional-services credibility was the whole brief: clean structure, restrained visual language, clear paths to enquiry. Read the case study
"Andre listens attentively to understand your needs, creates practical solutions, and his visual designs are stunning. He is my first choice for future projects."
Jane Halford β Halford Consulting
The Search Standard β thesearchstandard.com
My most recent premium build. I assessed the client's existing platform and assumptions before rebuilding rather than after β which is exactly the sequence I'm proposing for you.
"Andre took on The Search Standard project and knocked it out of the park."
David Lefcourt β The Search Standard
Global Vegetarian β globalvegetarian.mykajabi.com
A full Kajabi course ecosystem including video production β worth mentioning if courses or digital products are anywhere in The Calm Collective's future. Read the case study
Parkash Bains of Global Vegetarian, David Lefcourt of The Search Standard and Jane Halford of Halford Consulting are available as direct references. Happy to connect you.
How I communicate
This is the part most proposals skip, and it's the part clients tell me matters most. You'll get proactive updates β what I did, what's next, what I need from you β without having to ask. When something is a technical constraint rather than a choice, I'll say so plainly instead of hiding behind jargon. And when you send feedback, it gets acknowledged the same day.
A note on scope
I'd rather be accurate than impressive. Some Kajabi capabilities β certain custom CSS and JavaScript injections, for example β depend on your plan tier. Once I'm in the account, I'll confirm what's actually available on your plan before promising it. I don't do Liquid-based theme overrides.
Next step
A short call, or a few questions over Contra chat β whichever you prefer. I'd want to hear where The Calm Collective is headed over the next year, what's already built in Kajabi, and what "ready to launch" means to you specifically.
Then I'll come back with a week-one plan.
