Pacific Flying Club
The History
Pacific Flying Club was formed in 1965 as the Canadian Pacific Airlines Employees Flying Club. Since 1985, the Club has been located at Boundary Bay Airport, one of the busiest general aviation airports in Canada.
The Challenge
Company's original website was more than 15 years old and needed a major overhaul. Two main issues needed to be addressed:
- Subscriptions to all courses have been done the "old fashion way", on paper. Automatization of subscription process needed to be developed.
- The old website had a "tired Look and feel". A redesign of PFC's brand was needed to work flawlessly on desktop as well as on mobile.
The Process
The platform for the subscription process needed to be established first. Customization, script and code writing was next, followed by extensive testing. New architecture and navigation were developed at the same time, and once approved the graphic design followed.
Marketing
Much needed organic traffic to the website was achieved using Social Media posting on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. This was followed by Social Media advertising campaign as well as email marketing.
